Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Steady ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Steady is a cycling coaching platform that generates personalized training plans based on your event goals and fitness data. The Service connects to Strava (with your authorization) to read your cycling activities and uses that data to provide training recommendations and progress tracking.

Not Medical Advice

Steady provides training guidance, not medical advice. The training plans, coaching feedback, and recommendations are generated based on training science principles and your data, but they are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

You should consult a physician before starting any new exercise program. You use the Service and follow its training recommendations at your own risk.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date. One account per person — accounts are not transferable.

Strava Integration

Steady accesses your Strava data through Strava's official API with your explicit OAuth authorization. You can revoke this access at any time through your Strava settings or within Steady. Your use of Strava is subject to Strava's own terms of service.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
• Resell or redistribute the Service's output

Intellectual Property

The Service, its methodology, and its content are owned by Steady. Your training data remains yours. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data to deliver the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

Service Availability

We aim to keep Steady available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Steady is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on its training recommendations.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
